Founder and CEO

Navroze Mehta, Founder and CEO of Impact Medical Strategies, has 15 years of experience in developing early stage medical devices. Most recently he was Managing Partner of MDI Partners LLC (www.mdipartners.com) where he used a unique innovation and development framework to bring devices to market. One of those spin outs is ClearSpec LLC (www.clearspecmedical.com). Prior to MDI Partners, he was the Founder and Vice Chairman of NovaVision Inc.(www.novavision.com), a venture-backed company providing neurostimulation devices to restore vision in stroke and traumatic brain injury patients. Before that he was President and CEO of Skinstore (www.skinststore.com) a successful B2C Company.

Navroze is a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO), past chair of the Americas Gateway Chapter, and served as Regional Chair of the Economic Development Network. He is also an active member of the Ashoka Support Network (www.ashoka.org), a leader in the field of social entrepreneurship. Navroze also co-founded Mela Artisans Inc. (www.melaartisans.com) with his daughter Sonali Mehta Rao. MyMela is a novel social for profit enterprise that was formed to create a global marketplace for artisans worldwide with a goal of preserving the livelihood of artisans. Navroze also served on the Board of Directors of Mission Markets Inc., a company that is focused on connecting impact investors to mission-focused organizations. Navroze received an MBA from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sydenham College at the University of Bombay, India.


Project Manager

Suzanne Mair, Project Manager at Impact Medical Strategies has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry both as a Hospital Administrator with Memorial Sloan–Kettering Cancer Center and as a Consultant and Clinical Project Manager with large medical-surgical manufacturers and distributors including Allegiance Healthcare and Cardinal Healthcare.

Suzanne has worked extensively with medical products and devices. At Memorial Sloan-Kettering she served as Chairperson of the hospital Product Evaluation Committee. As a Consultant and Clinical Project Manager she has worked with physicians and clinical staff to standardize supplies and procedures in the operating room and throughout the hospital. Suzanne received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University and a Master of Public Health Degree from Columbia University.



Dr. Arunodoy Sur, Analyst at Impact Medical Strategies, has a PhD in Integrative Biology and 5 years of work experience in the life science industry. He is experienced in scientific research, drug development and commercialization of scientific technologies. Arunodoy’s PhD research focused on developing new therapies for ocular diseases such as age related macular degeneration and retinoblastoma. His work was published, contributed to two patents and was also presented at multiple scientific conferences.

Before receiving his PhD, Arunodoy worked at Accenture where he was involved in projects associated with clinical trials and clinical trials database management for a global pharmaceutical organization. Having worked as a clinical data validation professional, Arunodoy is experienced in FDA guidelines, clinical trials and regulatory laws associated with life science industry. He also worked at the Office of Technology transfer at Florida Atlantic University where he was involved in conducting due diligence, technology assessment and promoting the universities scientific inventions to industry for licensing. Arunodoy received a PhD from Florida Atlantic University and a MS in Biotechnology from Bangalore University in India.
